Our Goal
"To make provision for an efficient and effective fire and emergency response service"
North Tipperary County Council Fire Authority maintains 7 fire brigades within the county. The breakdown of the personnel in each brigade is as follows:

On average the Fire Service attends 700-750 incidents/year.

- Have your chimney cleaned twice a year
- SLOW DOWN on the roads!
The Chief Fire Officer also has a fulltime staff of 3 Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officers, 1 Assistant Chief Fire Officer and 1 Assistant Fire Officer, Brigade Mechanic and Administrative staff based at the Headquarter Station in Nenagh.
