Prevention

North Tipperary Fire Service continues to be active in fire prevention by promoting fire safety in the community. This is achieved on a number of levels, from organised visits by school children to the various stations and distribution of National Safety Council literature to the training of staff from external industries on aspects of fire fighting and Health & Safety issues.

Specialised training courses are provided by qualified instructors. If you would like to discuss the training courses provided, please contact any of our personnel.

As part of the licensing process, hotels, restaurants and public houses are inspected annually to ensure that fire safety management is in place and that in the event of emergency that the safety of patrons is preserved.

If you have any questions on aspects of fire safety either in the home, at work or in the community. Please contact our offices for assistance.
