Parking
Pay and Display parking is now in place in Roscrea Town since 8th January 2007
Applications can now be made to the Roscrea Area Office, Birr Road, Roscrea, telephone: 0505 21319 for the following:
- Residents Permits
- Monthly Parking Discs
- Half Year Parking Discs
- Yearly Parking Discs

North Tipperary County Council at its monthly meeting held on 19th September, 2005 considered and adopted the Roscrea (Parking Places) Bye-Laws 2005. These Bye-Laws became operative on 1st February 2006. Under the Bye-Laws paid parking in Roscrea Town is now in place since 8th January 2007, during business hours 9.00a.m. to 6.00p.m. Monday to Saturday.
Please note that the following schedule of charges apply:
- On street parking 50 cents per hour (option of 1 houror 2 hour parking with a maximum oftwo hour parking)
- Car Parks 50 cents per hour or €2.00
per day
Monthly rates - €25.00
Half Yearly rates - €130.00
Yearly rates - €200.00 - Residents Permits €25.00 (Rate for pensioners - €10.00).

Designated spaces for disabled parking have been provided and are clearly marked.Loading bays have also been provided and are clearly marked. Signage has been erected indicating the operational times.
Traffic Fines
Non-compliance with the above Bye-Laws will result in specific on the spot fines, appropriate to the offence, ranging from €40.00 to €80.00.Any queries in relation to paid parking in Roscrea to be addressed to the Roscrea Area Office
